Nestled at the foot of Glenarm Glen and the first of the nine Glens of Antrim, there’s something for everyone’s interest in this unique village. Georgian streets with well preserved architecture, a rich heritage and breath taking landscape. Enchanting Glenarm Forest, Stunning Glenarm Marina with it’s fully restored harbour & pier. Sixteenth Century Glenarm Castle and walled garden.

Carnlough Harbour
on our way to Carnlough for a Photo opportunity, grab a coffee or refreshment and take a walk around the quaint little harbour, read about Paddy the Pigeon. Carnlough was used as a Game of Thrones filming Location for Braavos Canal. (Ideal as there are Public Toilets Available).Admire the Views, See the Glens of Antrim. The harbour of the coastal village of Carnlough was constructed by the owners of the nearby quarries. A mineral tramway network was then put in place to connect the quarries with the harbour. Some remains of the network can still be seen today, in particular two bridges that span the two parallel streets of the village.
These days, Carnlough is a mooring place for small fishing boats and leisure craft.

Cushendall
Cushendall, formerly known as Newtownglens, is a coastal village and townland in County Antrim, Northern Ireland. It is in the historic barony of Glenarm Lower and the civil parish of Layd, and is part of Causeway Coast and Glens district. Cushendall (from Irish: Cois Abhann Dalla, meaning 'foot of the River Dall'), formerly known as Newtownglens, is a coastal village and townland (of 153 acres) in County Antrim, Northern Ireland. It is in the historic barony of Glenarm Lower and the civil parish of Layd, and is part of Causeway Coast and Glens district.
It is on the A2 coast road between Glenariff and Cushendun, in the Antrim Coast and Glens Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. It lies in the shadow of the table topped Lurigethan Mountain and at the meeting point of three of the Glens of Antrim: Glenaan, Glenballyemon and Glencorp. This part of the Irish coastline is separated from Scotland by the North Channel, with the Mull of Kintyre about 16 miles away.

Caves of Cushendun
Cushendun is a small coastal village in County Antrim, Northern Ireland. It sits off the A2 coast road between Cushendall and Ballycastle. It has a sheltered harbour and lies at the mouth of the River Dun and Glendun, one of the nine Glens of Antrim.
You can See Johann the Goat. Cushendun (from Irish: Cois Abhann Doinne, meaning 'foot of the River Dun') is a small coastal village in County Antrim, Northern Ireland. It sits off the A2 coast road between Cushendall and Ballycastle. It has a sheltered harbour and lies at the mouth of the River Dun and Glendun, one of the nine Glens of Antrim. The Mull of Kintyre in Scotland is only about 15 miles away across the North Channel.
The Cushendun Caves were one of several Game of Thrones filming locations in Northern Ireland – they were used for the backdrop of the Stormlands. The caves were the setting for one of the most iconic scenes from season two of the series.It's where Melisandre gave birth to the Shadow Assassin.

Torr Head
Probably the Most Beautiful and Picturesque Roads to Drive along in Ireland Between Cushendun and Ballycastle, the Torr Head Scenic Route, probably Ireland’s most beautiful sidetrack, leeds along the rolling coastline of County Antrim. A narrow road, hairpin bends and blind spots guarantee an adventurous ride, where a gorgeous landscape appears behind every bend. If visibility is good you have a good view over to Scotland, which seems to be within reach from Torr Head.
Scotland is Literally 10 Miles Away. With spectacular views over the Mull of Kintyre, crashing waves and historical intrigue, Torr Head is also a popular destination for those touring the Causeway Coastal Route.

Ballycastle is a small seaside town in County Antrim, Northern Ireland. It is on the north-easternmost coastal tip of Ireland, in the Antrim Coast and Glens Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. The harbour hosts the ferry to Rathlin Island, which can be seen from the coast.

Kinbane Castle
For Those who Enjoy some Exercise this is a great place to stop for a lovely walk with breath taking Scenery Kinbane Castle (Caisleán Ceinn Bán, White Head Castle, Kenbane Castle)!
In 1547, a two-storey castle was built at the headland by Colla MacDonnell. The castle was damaged and partly destroyed due to English sieges under Sir James Croft in the 1550s. Rebuilt afterwards, Colla MacDonnell died at the castle in 1558, and his son Gillaspick MacDonnell subsequently inherited it.
The hollow below the castle known as Lag na Sassenach (Hollow of the English) and it was allegedly during the 16th century that a garrison of English soldiers sieging the castle were surrounded and killed.
Sorley Boy MacDonnell, brother of Colla, later acquired the castle when trading property with Gillaspick. He later handed it to the MacAlisters because of their loyalty. The castle remained in the descendants of the MacAlisters of Kenbane until the 18th century.

Suspended almost 100 ft (30 m) above sea level, the rope bridge was first erected by salmon fishermen over 250 years ago.

Giant's Causeway
Highlight of Your Tour The UNESCO World Heritage Site The Giant's Causeway is an area of about 40,000 interlocking basalt columns, the result of an ancient volcanic fissure eruption. It is located in County Antrim on the north coast of Northern Ireland, about three miles (5 km) northeast of the town of Bushmills.
It was declared a World Heritage Site by UNESCO in 1986 and a national nature reserve in 1987 by the Department of the Environment for Northern Ireland.The Giant's Causeway is sometimes named the Eighth greatest natural wonder of the World. The tops of the columns form stepping stones that lead from the cliff foot and disappear under the sea. Most of the columns are hexagonal, although there are also some with four,five,seven or eight sides.The tallest are about 12metres(39ft)high, and the solidified lava in the cliffs is 28metres(92ft)thick in places.
You should look out for the Giant's Gate, the Giant's Boot and the Wishing Chair.

The Dark Hedges is an avenue of beech trees along Bregagh Road between Armoy and Stranocum in County Antrim, Northern Ireland.
